Yes. The legal business name we use for PEXA settlements, First Legal, remains unchanged.
No, there will be no changes to our existing contracts. The First Mortgage Services companies are continuing, the changing is only to the branding to bring all of the services we offer under a single brand.
As a First Mortgage Services customer, you’ll enjoy a new experience under the unified First Title brand. For over two decades, First Title and First Mortgage Services have operated as one team. By operating under one name, First Title, you get the speed of best-in-class mortgage fulfilment and the protection of Title Insurance.
No, your services and contacts will stay the same. Here’s exactly what will change:
- Our First Mortgage Service team will now use First Title email addresses, making it easy to recognise official communications. (Rest assured, emails sent to First Mortgage Service email addresses will still reach the recipient.)
- The refreshed First Title website is your new go-to for information and updates.
- When you call the contact centre, our team will now answer as First Title, not First Mortgage Service.
- Apps like MyPortView will carry the First Title branding.
Despite these updates, you’ll continue working with the same people you know and trust, and your existing processes won’t change.
Rest assured, emails to all First Mortgage Services email addresses will be forwarded to the correct recipient.
However, First Mortgage Services email addresses are changing to First Title email addresses. This means that when you receive an email from us, it will come from the First Title email address. You can start using the First Title email addresses now.

Employee email addresses
This example shows how our employee emails will change:
- Australian emails: John.Smith@au.firstms.com > John.Smith@firsttitle.com.au
- First Title emails: JSmith@firsttitle.com.au > John.Smith@firsttitle.com.au
- New Zealand emails: John.Smith@nz.firstms.com > John.Smith@firsttitle.co.nz
Group email addresses
Just like employee email addresses, all group email addresses are also being updated.
Here’s what’s changing:
- New domains: Group email addresses will also use @firsttitle.com.au for Australia and @firsttitle.co.nz for New Zealand instead of the old @au.firstms.com or @nz.firstms.com
- Updated prefixes: If an email address currently includes “FMS”, it will change to “FT”. As an example, FMSsupport@au.firstms.com would become FTsupport@firsttitle.com.au
Please note: The email addresses above are examples only and not active addresses.
Yes, apps like MPV and DocuPrep will remain fully functional and supported. While they’ll be updated with First Title branding, your existing login credentials will remain unchanged.
You can still reach us on the same phone numbers as before. While the contact centre will now answer as ‘First Title,’ the support team and service you’re familiar with remain unchanged.
If you’ve used FASTRefi®, you’re likely already familiar with First Title. Going forward, you’ll notice updated branding and communications reflecting the First Title name.
No, there’s nothing you need to do. You’ll continue working with your usual contacts as normal, and we’ll ensure your experience remains as smooth as possible as we transition to the First Title brand.
