Program options

First Title offers a comprehensive range of title insurance programs for lenders that can be tailored to meet your business-process and risk-mitigation requirements. Subject to a satisfactory due diligence review conducted by our team, we’ll work with you to select a lender program option that best meets your requirements.

In-house program

This program is ideal for lenders that prepare and process mortgage documentation in-house, right through to the settlement and mortgage registration confirmation.

Panel lawyer program

This program is designed for lenders who outsource part or all of their mortgage documentation preparation and processing to panel lawyers. It is also designed for other third-party service providers that undertake the mortgage processing and registration process on behalf of lenders.

Full-service program

This is a turn-key program that combines mortgage loan documentation servicing and registration services, with title insurance coverage. First Title can facilitate an introduction to its affiliated company, First Mortgage Services, to undertake the end-to-end mortgage processing service on your behalf.

The full-service program includes documentation preparation, settlement and mortgage registration, as well as the issuance of title insurance at settlement. You’ll benefit from the simplicity of having a single point of contact for all support requirements, at a competitive price.

FASTRefi program

This program is unique to First Title and provides an alternative to processing refinance transactions. It helps ensure refinance transactions processing takes days, instead of weeks. FASTRefi is underpinned by a limited title insurance cover policy, which covers the mortgage registration gap period.

The FASTRefi program can be tailored to embed seamlessly into your organisation’s mortgage documentation and registration processes.

Portfolio program

The portfolio program allows lenders to retrospectively insure settled residential mortgage transactions that originated from the lender, or have been purchased by the lender. The portfolio program can also be used when investigating new acquisitions. As each portfolio program is unique, First Title will work with you to structure a portfolio program that will meet your specific requirements.
